Huge CCUKY approval!

Got a $10k approval for the credit card at Commonwealth CU in KY! My largest credit line was $3,600.

3x points on transportation and travel

1.5x everything else

25k points after spending 5k in first 3 months

No AF/no FTF/6 months of no APR

Pretty nice for a CU card!

I applied for WF Autograph Journey and BOA Air France. Denied on both of those.

Have apps pending for Fidelity and US Bank. That'll complete my app spree.

I checked the credit unions website. Membership does not appear to be geofenced. The membership eligibility page gives the three options for anyone to join. One of those options is membership in or become member of the American Consumer Council.

That sounds correct. I did move to KY recently so I had only been looking at local credit unions. I did do a membership to one of those places in order to join.

It's also nice that its not Geofenced to KY and qualifying membership can be obtained with a free American Consumer Council membership.

Bonus, is their Balace Transfers double as a creative 15% apy PLOC, allowing you to deposit the BT into your checking account to use how you want with 0% bt fees.

I added this one to my future consideration list.

Just adding what a great experience I had opening this card. They said getting a card in branch was an option, so I did that this afternoon since I work across the street. 5k spend for the sign up bonus is high relatively speaking, so I wanted to put spend on this ASAP.

The balance transfer perk is cool too like someone mentioned. They also have a separate app for their credit card.

It's nice too that they aren't geofenced even if me being local is the reason I went with them.
