Amex BCE and BofA CLI

BCE - I don't use this card too often but figured what the heck, may as well request a CLI to see what they'd do. I was at $50k, requested $70k and they asked for bank access/3 statements. I uploaded the 3 statements and they approved the new CLI request.

BofA - I had previously been auto approved to $30k so I asked them for $55k this time. Auto approved again.

Looks like I could have gone higher on both, but happy with the current limits since they're both more than adequate for our needs.

I've been wondering how you got to 300k tlc in signature. 😂

I am confident I'll get my Amex to $40,000. Ridiculous (for me).

It's actually a little higher, but I was being lazy when I redid my sig.

Custom Cash - $55k

Costco - $45k

BCE - $70k

BofA - $55k

Amazon - $35k

CSR - $55k

I rarely use the BCE. I charge our 6 month car insurance premium to it so it gets used twice a year for about $2500 a whack (dang 16 year old destroying our insurance rate). Income reported to Amex is $230k but statements prove more. I haven't updated the income with them in a few years but I err on the side of caution. It's closer to $260k which the statements supported.

I just like to poke the bear every now and again lol.

I want to pay my insurance with my Amex, but progressive won't take it. Not sure how I can get around this. May try and call in October...

I've always paid Progressive with PayPal to use their 6 month no interest deal. If you don't want to use PayPal credit then you can link your Amex in PayPal and pay them that way. We usually flip between Progressive and Geico to get the new customer teaser rate.

Yeah, I drive a lot as well so I know that pain. I don't have any loyalty to any carrier at this point but I'm curious what the emerald level entails. Hopefully it results in some savings your way!

The biggest savings I've run across for any carrier is paying the policy in full.
