Cap 1 Savor $4K CLI to $11,500

Tried for a couple of CLIs from Cap 1 this morning. The first was for my QuickSilver card that doesn't get much use. It currently has a $5K limit. That was denied for lack of use. Next up was my Savor card that gets heavy use at times. That had a $7500 CL. For the question of how much was I requesting, I thought I was shooting high by requesting $10K. I was shocked when they asked if I wanted to accept a CL of $11500. Hell yeah!!! I jumped on that!

I'm considering rolling as much of the QS limit into this card. I have some charges on it so I'll pay those off then see what can be done. I'm thinking I should be able to slide $4500 into the Savor for a limit of $16,000. Then I'll close the card.

It will be 2 years next week. I keep notes for all of my cards. This is it's history -

Capital One Savor One- $3000 (Opened 6/19/23) - $4500 (7/11/23). $5000 (2/3/24). $5500 (8/5/24). Combined 10/28/24 - $7500. (Requested CLI 3/29/25 - Denied because of recent combo) - $11500 (6/8/25).

I just checked rolling my QuickSilver CL into this card. I can slide $4500 into this one. I think I might do it.The card doesn't get used much so I won't miss it. Can always get another if I want.
