Amex Everyday approval

After my Citi AA yesterday, I thought to try for the Amex Everyday card. A good thing about Amex is that tell you whether approved or not with a soft pull and if you accept the card offer then a HP occurs which is great! I got pre-approved for $14,400 which I accepted!

I have the Blue Cash preferred (CL $33,000) and Delta (Blue one) $2,000 CL and also a saving account with them.

Being you were already in with Amex, they generally don't do a HP for subsequent approvals. Nice SL, congratulations on your approval!

Agree it's likely you were only SP'd for the approval - not guaranteed but very unlikely to get a HP for existing cardmember

Also checking if you mean the BCE or actual old AMEX Everday? Thought the latter was discontinued last year, would be cool if there was another workaround to get a new one!

Thanks man! I just also applied for the Amex Delta SkyMiles Reserve and got approved too! SL $15,000!

Congrats!

I didn't know you could have the Blue Cash Preferred and the Blue Cash Everyday at the same time.
I recently changed my BCP to BCE.

Yes, having both is no problem. I don't even carry the BCE in my wallet. I only use it for online shopping. I view it as an add-on to the BCP, just one more 3% category for no extra cost. It was even a soft pull approval. I see both cards with a single login so it's super easy to manage.

Congratulations on your Approval. I also have the almost same cards and almost same limits with them. How much do you keep in your savings, if you dont mind me asking.

I opened it a year ago and transfer 1-2k a month. So about 20k. I also have the BC preferred with them 33k (was 1k till last summer).
