It's crazy how excited we can get over a new little piece of plastic (or is it metal)!

so I have danced around applying for this card for years. I have tried the Amazon pre-approval tool every few months for what feels like years. Anyway every time I tried it it came back with obscure results, unable to approve basically telling me that I couldn't prove me. Now I'm a bit of a credit whore I love large credit limits and the thrill of being approved. But this card like all other Chase cc's had me in chase cc jail an account of chases five and 24 rule. So so yesterday I danced around applying are not applying. I filled out the application and then I canceled it filled it out again and canceled it one more time. then I decided what the hell it's just another hard Pull. at the time of my application I was seven for 24 and two for 12 fully expecting to get a denial when the card card approval came back with congratulations. Nice starting limit at $18K, but high APR. for this I don't mind, im not one to carry a balance. I'm just very excited to be in With Chase's ecosystem for the first time ever.

This was on the heels of an approval from Bank of America for the customized cash rewards. This is my second B of A card, this year they gave me $15,000 and a $200 cash bonus plus no interest for 13 months and APR of 19.5.

I guess it's back to the garden. I go for at least 12 months besides what's a credit who like me to do if I can't be applying for a new Credit?

does anyone know if that Amazon prime card is still metal, or has Chase gone to plastic with it?

Very nice. Congrats on you finally getting approved for the Amazon Prime card. When I got mine early this year it was metal indeed.

And congrats on the CCR too - it's a great card.

NFCU black card 46K. Total available credit available across all cards 287K

highest limit cards: AMEX BCP=35K , BofA Atmos = 21K, CapOne Venture x = 16.5K, NFCU platnum= 25K, Venmo visa sig=16K, and sever others sub 15K
