Rakuten AMEX Auto-LUV!

My 4th statement for Rakuten AMEX closed today. I was initially approved with a $10K SL. So far, I've found the card to be great for consistently getting at least 5% cash back when opting in to nearly anything on Rakuten. I've been using it a lot at CVS in-store (which is usually 2% or 2.5%, plus the 4% for using the card). It's worked out really well for me. Not every restaurant has Rakuten dining offers, but when it's available, it's great!

I've probably averaged about $200 to $300 in spend every month. And I guess Imprint likes it, as I logged in and saw my CL had increased to $12500. There's no LUV button, so I wasn't sure if CLIs were an option. As it turned out, auto CLIs are definitely a thing. I'll enjoy the new CL and make a new post if they repeat the LUV!

Another DP, I just checked and my initial limit of $4k just doubled to $8k. Been spending about $500-1k a month so far.

Thanks for sharing! I'm assuming you used Rakuten a lot before getting the card? I like the idea of more bonus cash back opportunities, but I'm worried I won't get in the habit.
