Clearview FCU CLI -FROM $1K CL TO $12,500 CL SEE COMMENTS

I found a pre-approved offer from Clearview FCU (where I have been a member since 2021) on the Further platform (but this offer did NOT appear to me in the Clearview Online Banking/Mobile Banking platform at all). When I chose to accept it, Union Credit-which runs teh Further platform-could not process my acceptance. I reached out to Clearview via email to a Credit Underwriter directly-this same Underwiter processed a Further offer for my sister recently, I explained the issue and she replied that she checked with her Manager and basically told me I was SOL unless I choose to apply with Clearview directly.

I did accept this so I reached out via DM on LinkedIn to Union Credit and their co-founder Barry replied to me. My real n ame is unique and he found my data. He offered to reach out to Clearview and advocate for me and he did so. He replied back to me with the name, email address and direct phone number of a Sr. Credit Underwite at Clearview. I emailed that individual, who was familiar with the issue, and 10 days or so my existing CL was moved to $12,500 after I completed a DocuSihgn packahe on 2/11/26. My APR was already at Clearview's lowest current rate of 10.49% but I had a toy limit. Now I have a much more usable limit.

This was a SOFT PULL. Clearview pulls TU and all of my reports have been frozens since the end of January 2026. All of my scores no matter the bureau/version are 760+

My advice to all-when these credit vendors/fintechs like Union Credit or Clutch present an offer and the CU (even a Credit Underwriter -not front line customer service-sasy yoru are SOL. Go back to Union or Clutch or any of the other numerous vendors and see if they can get the correct CU personell to help. That worked in my case. I should not have been put in this position but I wanted the CLI and knew it would be a soft pull -so I sent 3 emails and had 2 phone calls each under 5 minutes with the Clearview Sr Credit Underwriter. That was my time that I put to good use.

hello. I am interested in applying for Clearview as well. You are saying they only pull Trans Union?

Clearview only pulls TU as far as I know for eligible PA residents. When I received the docs for this CLI, the "Your Credit Score and Understanding Your Credit Score" page listed TU even though my CLI was approved via a SP. Now whether this hold true for Clewarview members who now lived outside of their Geofence or somehow got in even though are "technically" ineligible for membership I don't know. I live in a suburb of Pittsburgh still within Allegheny County so I a legit member since I live within their service area.
