So my calendar said it was time for a cli from nfcu

clicked the button and bam 💥 another 8k

Go navy

Old limit 21k. New limit 29k

Can I ask what the time line is for asking Navy for a CLI? I also have their Flagship card since last August and they gave me an auto CLI from $8k to $27k in November. Thank you.

I think it's 90 days ? So you're probably good to request unless your auto CLI was after Nov 19

Should be 6 months, 91 days for the first one. I want to know how you got a 19k CLI. That's very atypical.

congrats on the CLI, you prompted me to go look, been 54 weeks for me so pulled the lever, went from $23.5K to $31.5K - thanks for the reminder

Do we know if the following still holds true when it comes to CLI requests with NFCU CCs?

"..the maximum unsecured revolving credit you can obtain from Navy Federal is $80,000 shared over no more than three accounts..."

NFCU allows up to $80k on the flagship I believe, with a maximum of $80k possible over no more than 3 cards combined at once.

My experience us, I got an auto cli at about 3 months, they turned down my requests as too soon until 6 months after the auto cli. They never ask how much I want, have given $8,000 each request, at 6 month intervals.

Thank you for the feedback. I will eventually request a CLI on my own but didn't want to be too pushy as they have been very generous with me.

I wish I had data points to share on that. I opened the card and was happy with the credit line and was pleasantly shocked to open my email 3 months later to their auto CLI. WHY it was that amout remains a mystery. I am just happy that for once in my life I was on the receiving end of the atypical CLI.
