Chase Sapphire Preferred and Freedom Approvals

I was just approved for Chase Sapphire Preferred ($11,600) and Chase Freedom ($6,000), among a few others yesterday. But, I discovered that the Marriott card is also Chase... I should have app'd for that, but app'd and got approved for the other two. I called Chase and they said they don't usually approve more than two cards, even if I was going to close one and apply for the other. She suggested apping in 30 days. A product change would prob not be possible. IDK.

Should I just enjoy the Sapphire and the rewards, and app for the Marriott down the road?

Enjoy the CSP, be careful apping for so many Chase products in a years time. I would wait at lease 6 months before trying to get that Marriott. Grats on both your new cards

Reccomend getting your spend done for CSP and use your Freedom by Quarter 5% line up offers. BTW you have to sign up each quarter.. July is Gas

In case you haven't read up Freedom points can transfer online to csp for Awesome 1:1 On many Airlines etc..

Show them your spend habits while waiting on your future Marriot card.

Speaking of spending habits...

I always PIF, but how much do they like to see charged each month? Is it a % of CL? Close to max but PIF, even if several times per month? I travel a ton for work, and could easily hit 50% of my CL in a month, PIF of course when I get back from each trip.

I just want to spend to entice the great chances for CLI, or the Marriott card in 6 or so months.
