Just got approved for the refreshed Shell Performance card at SL = $8,500! Should work well since I fill up at Shell a lot.

Did the no-pull pre-approval (can confirm no pull) and got the offer! Obviously it triggered hard pull when accepted. Only TU (FICO ~= 770-780ish) was pulled.

You're given the option to choose which color after you accept...I chose gold since I've got plenty of gray/white cards.

So far, the Imprint account UI and app look pretty modern (it is a fintech, after all).

Congrats but you must be in an area where there's lots of Shell stations. Closest one to me is like almost a half hour away and third shift clerk was pretty nasty about me using the restroom about 2 years ago without a purchase. Never again. And I hate the fact that this Shell card app is still looming behind me for awhile since I did too many prequal apps for Imprint as I was rate shopping and still have to wait a bit before pre-approval for the Rakuten card again, which is the one card I want.

4% on gas is good, doesn't appear to have a cap. The 2% on everything else is really nice to.

Id compare that with usb connect, which is 4% gas at most stations, but $1000 a quarter cap and only 1% on everything else.
