Ron inspired or rather influenced me on this one

All along i been blowing off any real attention for this card simply because most of my other (new) lines are well in the process of building on some much needed aging. I decided last night however to go ahead an app this one anyway because my Durango tires are in fact reaching their maximum wear fast, and i'm all for 6 month no interest to finally replace them with some new rubber. This morning i got the email approval. I don't know very much if anything about CFNA but i'll take the $1600 SL that came thru. FWIW, my Discover FICO is currently 690 and been sitting on 9% Util the past couple of months. AAoA will need another medical treatment again but all in all i'm really quite pleased with this starting limit from them.

Thanks all.

It's not like that set of tires couldn't just have easily gone on one of the 0% CC's already in my current lineup of 9% UTIL., but i decided why not, and went on ahead and took the plunge on this one. Fortunately the SL is not as queazy as i might had expected it to be irregardless of however long it could take later down the line for a CLI

They reported to both EXP and TU.

Congrats on the CFNA FS card. Decent limit too. I have it and from what Ive read CFNA can be quirky so take care of the account closely.They are quick to lower your limit if you slip up. They took about 5 weeks to report my TL to the CRA's and on their website, they didnt show my CL until I used the card. This even though they told me I was approved for 1200. Ive used it once for 450 and paid it off in 3 months and so far so good.

WoW! You guys dug this one up from the summer?

Well since it's found new life once again here's an update on this Firestone Approval. I haven't got around to putting any charge on it just yet (slacking) But they said when i do make an appointment (likely for an oil change soon) to bring in your ID to sign into the system. I can also confirm that unlike some CC's there is absolutely no month by month history data whatsover showing up on my reports until first use. Guess i'm gonna have to get crackin over to evansville or indy to get this account rollin

If nothing else you guys reminded me that i need to get some kind of first useage on it, THANKS!! FOR THE REMINDER

This bank is a bit stingy w limits. The wife is still at her starting CL of $2,000 and when we called in to see about a CLI after 3+yrs w the card. They stated that they are a small bank and that $2,000 is a high CL for them.

not sure if its the same at firestone but bosch services (same bank) when i get my car repairs is it 0% APR for 6 months anytime i need my car repaired or is it only when i get my car repaired in the first year opening the account ?
