Might cause them to be cautious with giving you a new account if you burned them before. Does the mailer have a set APR? (Ex: 16.24%, 17.24%, etc.)

Discover It invitation

I received a second invitation to apply for Discover It.
I happen to know they soft pulled me prior to sending the first mailer.
I also burned them many years ago and never expected to get a card from them again.
Just for fun, I typed in the invitation number. The address that came up was an old address (the one they used to have probably) and not my new address (where they are sending the mailers)
I'm wondering what my chances are with them and if the wrong address was a bad sign. Also, if I reapply with them, will it open the old wounds?
My scores are in the low 700s and I have around 20 inquiries.

Mailer just has a range 12.99-15.99, not a set APR

Well a small range is more promising than the full range, but I'd still be weary, especially if you burned them before.

I got the same mailer from Discover. In fact I got it twice. I ended up applying and was approved for 3000 CL. I believe that I burned Discover a long time ago but it appears they have either forgot or enough time passed. I did apply also in Jan 2015 and was denied than, so I guess my higher scores and lower UTIL helped me this time around. I also had the same APR range, 12.99-15.99. I took the chance and was rewarded. You might be also.....
