Can't App for AKC Visa, System Issues!

I made the executive decision to app for AKC Visa, lol! I have the most adorable, angelic, loving and loyal Cockapoo ( can you tell I'm smitten,,lol) and this card can be very useful. I have been trying daily since Thursday to app and once I press the submit key it immediately says the app could not be processed. I called Comenity and they That they had heard there was some problems, not much help! Anyone successful recently with the AKC Visa.

They do pull Experian!

willwar14, that is a thought, I will try on Momday again and if I get the same results, I think I will app by phone. I just love the instant decision process, but maybe the credit rep will be able to provide a instant decision. Thanks!

I applied on Dec 1 and was approved through verification letter about 10 days later. After I posted in the approvals section, someone else went to app and it was down. So it's been over a month, you think they could move on that lol!

if you apply over the phone, it should be instant. Then you can go to the login site and set up your account/ change the image on the card.

Im sure you would get approved with your EX score for at least 6-8k visa signature.

Thanks ddemari. My first order of business on Monday. Comenity has never been overly generous with me, but I I'll let you know. Wow, didn't know it has been down that long, not good for business.

I spoke to a CSR for AKC today and they said to try tomorrow, rumor has it it will be functional. I will try again and then I will call to see if I can sub,it an application via phone. I would like a instant decisions no to me, it's nothing better than the Congrats screen, lol! I will update tomorrow. It's a little frustrating, now that I decided to app for this card, it's an issue!! I get the exact message you get and it is instantaneous. No Hp thank goodness, I would have had 6 by now, lol!

Heres what I know... I have been attempted to app for this card several times over the last week and get an immediate Can not Process the Application at this time, try again later. I've contacted Comenity and few times, some CSR's don't have a clue that there is a system issue and some have "heard" that there was an issue. No timeframe given as to when the online system will be fixed. I was offered to apply via phone, one said and instant decision and another said it will take 7-10 days to learn of my fate, lol! I'm a little parinoid that their system might result in an error and a credit pull will be done, chaos. So I'm going to hold off for now.

One thing that I am sure of, that the maybe 8 times that I have attempted to app, no bureau is pulled. I'm sure when the system issue is resolved and my app processes, it will definitely be a HP and most time with Experian.

Sorry for your troubles! I dont think that the previous apps that timed out or errored out to you will process. I am also pretty sure that comenity will instantly approve you on the phone if the app sees so. They may not be able to instantly approve you if there is verification issue.

I would just roll the dice and apply over the phone, but thats just me. I totally understand your logic in applying once the online application is back.

The AKC online app has been down for at least a month. I was going to hit that one in early December, but got the same message. Tried multiple browsers with no luck.

ddemari you have tremendous history with Comenity and if you really think that applying over the phone is advantageous, I think I will give them a call. I really do want the AKC Visa, the rewards will be very beneficial. Thanks and I will let you know.

your ex is very good, i double checked again and comenity capital pulled EX for sure for this card. My app wasnt instant but it did lead to verification and approval. I understand not wanting to apply over the phone, as I rather just type in the info and see what happens! But, this being comenity, who knows when that app will resurface!

I dont want to push you, but you want the card and your score is very good. I think you will definitely get it! Let me know!!! call em up!

I just hung up and The CSR told at the beginning of the application process that it would not be an instant decision. Because I wanted the card, I went on and apped for it. My Experian and TU scores are really good, Equifax is frozen, so I will wait and see. Got A few recent inquires totaling now Ex 19 and TU 9. So now I wait. It's ok either way, I really wanted the card so I'm willing to take the HP. Thanks. I'll check and see who they pulled I monitor thorough EX and at least credit Karma will let me know if a TU inquiry hits. I will keep you posted.

Id go any try to set up an account online now or later and see if the info populates for u! I know I have heard from some people that Comenity might pull Tu, but never in my experience has TU and Comenity graced each other.

I had way more inquiries on EX than you and probably a lower score too. I think you are in!!! Keep my posted!

I just updated you on another thread, so many floating around, lol. The CSR indicated that the app would NOT be a instant decision and I went on an apped. I really would like to have that card. I have a little cute Cockapoo and the benefits of the card would be useful. My scores are good enough, I do have several new accounts maybe 5 in the last few months, EQ is my lowest score but it's frozen. I don't mind the HP, cause I'm apping for a card that I want. We will see, I will keep you posted.

Good luck.. Personally I wouldn't apply for a comenity card with Experian or Eq either being on ice as they usually HP one and SP the other and if one is on ice this can cause all kinds of issues. Hopefully this doesn't happen to you. Just a heads up for future applications with them.

ddemari, Thanks for the words of encouragement. If they have a problem with Eq, I can easily unfreeze but if they want to do a SP, they can. I will let you know the outcome. Brilliant minds think alike, lol. I went into set up, to see if I could, and I could not. Not really worried about it, I'd really would like that card, and I think I have a pretty good chance, I just don't like to hear 7- 10 day timeframe, ugh!
