Has anyone heard of Credit First NA? I want to purchase 4 tires from Firestone and their website credit card application sends you to the CFNA website. There are no search results that I can find on this forum concering this bank. I searched for Firestone CC and there is no mention of the bank backing this card. There was a mention in one post of Synchrony Bank.... maybe CFNA took the card from SB? What I really would like to know is what CFNA considers when appying. Thanks for any replies.

It's strictly for Firestone and it's associated companies. Offers no interest for six months on purchases over about $250. Considered one of the easiest to get credit cards that will actually start you with a decent credit line-expect about a thousand or a little more. Pulls Transunion.

I have the Firestone card - and its pretty basic - $800 starting limit - high interest - 22.8% I believe. However, I got it for the 0% for 6 months when both my husband and my mother-in-law needed tires on their vehicles during the Christmas season. That way I didn't have to dig into the Christmas funds to pay for them I'll have them paid off before the 6 month mark for sure.

Both my husband and I have the card and use it once a year for tires and minor things. It's a great card to have for emergencies and available credit that you won't use often.

Opened a Firestone account for a set of tires. The card is offered by Credit First National Assoc. which provides credit for the family of Firestone companies. I found the card very easy to acquire and they have 6 month no interest financing, which is nice. The limits are not to high between 800.00 and 2200.00. Just watch how much you charge on this account, with the lower limits, it's pretty easy to to be at 50% or higher utilization on this card. And that will definitely impact your credit score.

Thanks again for you all posting your experiences. I applied for the card and was given a $2000 CL. Just priced 4 tires for.. OEM tires are goodyear $1200.+ so I opted for Bridgestones $750 OTD. Will take advantage of the 6 mos no interest.

Credit first has one second account that you can get as well that is not affiliated with the firestone brand...the bosch services CC is the only other card you can get with CFNA.

I have a Bridgestone Affiliate card with CFNA. Applied immediately after BK discharge. Approved with $800 sl.

Congrats on the approval for the CFNA Firestone card! As others have posted, CFNA issues the card(s) for Firestone/Bridgestone and their affiliated dealers. I have had their card since the early 2000's and even though it can only be used at their dealers, it helps with the AAoA and they offer the six months deferred interest. I don't use Firestone for everything, but when they are the same price or lower than another shop, I'll use them. I've used the Firestone card at STS dealers in NJ, since CFNA backs the STS card, the Firestone card works as well.

I got both Firestone and Bosch card. They are ok. I haven't gotten any CLI. By the way, it need to activate the card inside the store. It is weird.
