Cap One is making it tough not to app

All of a sudden, they're coming up with the lowest APR's on pre-approvals. These, plus the Venture One at 12.24%. Before today, they were coming up with 16.99 and 17.99.

I think they must SP Experian for these pre approvals. My tax lien recently vanished from that file, and my score saw a big bump.

These APRs are normal, been that way for awhile other than a slight interest rate increase. But yeah, why not app for all of them?

I'd be all over that offer. My current rate on my remaining CAP One card is 20.15% That's because my scores were middish 600's when I applied. The problem with Cap One is you stay locked in at whatever tier you are approved at for the life of the account. Sure, you can get a temporary rate reduction, as many folks have. So I have a Venture with a 40k CL and 20.15% rate. I'm gonna keep checking for preapprovals in the future and maybe my strategy could be to eventually combine it to a lower rate card.

Cap..what are you waiting for!? Venutre 1st, (high limit...they are known to match, or give higher SL than whats reported on your CR), then right afterwards..hit for QS. 35 days later do it all again...well, at least thats what I did last year, LMAO!! SMH ....then combine them all end of year!
