PC'd Platinum Mastercard to Quicksilver---Am I good enough for Venture, or second Quicksilver?

I recently hit the luv button on my Platinum Mastercard, and QS1. Went from $300-800 on both. Went online to chat with a rep to see about PC'ing the Platinum Mastercard to QS1. Rep offered to PC to regular QS with no AF. I accepted.

Now that I'm able to PC to a regular Quicksilver, if I were to apply for a Venture, or another Quicksilver, would I likely be approved?

My true FICO score is somewhere between 665-670 at the moment.

OR when your QS1 hits 6mths old you can PC it to a Venture or combine it into the QS for a larger CL on the 1 card. I believe it's whichever you want to do.

how long did you have your cards for? I'm thinking of asking for a PC on my platinum card once 3 months hit and asking for a CLI. I already pre qual for a QS and Venture on their site but I don't want any HP right now.

Venture is a lot harder to get. I wouldn't apply with those scores.

Who's saying one can go from an $0.8k Cap One card to a $5k Venture? With mid-600 scores?

It might happen, but I wouldn't think it happens often with that combination.

Did you receive a new QS Visa, or do you still have the QS1 MC, just with no annual fee?

I thought there was a minimum $3k limit for the QS. Are you sure you have not been given a PC to a non-AF QS1?

I (not the OP) have the QS1 MC without AF and the Platinum MC with AF. I didn't know there was a QS1 with an AF.

Even if it is a QuickSilver, if it was PC'd from a MasterCard it will stay a MasterCard forever. They don't do network changes, only card type changes. There are people here that carry QuickSilver World MasterCards so I wouldn't worry much about it not growing if they DID give you a QuickSilver, but it won't ever be a Visa.

Yes, that is how I understand it, or have heard. Do you get the same perks as the QS Visa when you PC a MC to a QS1 MC, if they state that is what you are getting?

The perks are pretty similar between Visa and MasterCard so far as the base level goes. There are a couple differences.

So for me, PC'ing from the basic MC to my current QS1 is the easiest way to go to increase my CL with no HP. Will that in turn be considered World level? How about when Client Services said no AF because bobbuds was getting a QS? No AF on the QS1 then?

My Experian Fico 8 jumped from 673 to 696 today.
In six months ill easily have across the board 700's, my limits will be higher through cli, and card combination, and THEN I'll app for double Venture's. Then 31 days later I'll double app again.

I called Cap1 today to PC my Plati, and QS1 .. They prett...

How old are the cards? The Platinum can be PC'd to a regular QS after the 2nd statement cuts but the QS1 won't till after the 6th. Then you can combine it into the QS or ask for a Venture PC. Those scores are way over the minimum needed.

I tried Facebook today to see about upgrading my 6k CL QS Visa Platinum to a Signature, they told me to do a secure chat on the website.

As expected, the website chat person said my Platinum will need to remain as such. He did mention that if I was willing to product change to a Venture One, he could make that a Visa Signature... but I have no need for a Venture One....

today is day 91 since I had my Plat mastercard...I got on chat and they said I had and upgrade available for the Quicksilver. I talked with two different ppl because I needed to do a name change and got transfered over and they both said Quicksilver. Now I don't know if I should hit the credit increase button or wait until I get my new card.

*EDIT* said screw it and got my CLI from $300 to $800. Now I can't wait to see what i'll get at my 6 month and what I get from Walmart when I ask for a CLI in a few days.

Congrats on your CLI now do the PC to the Quicksilver and you will still get your Credit Steps CLI at the 6mth point. Do you have the QS1 as well? If not you should app it today cause if you qualified for the Plat. you will qual. for the QS1 and it will be a Steps card too...

As for the Walmart card, you should call Credit Solutions (877-379-8173) today and ask for a CLI to $25k. They should counter with an offer probably around $3500. Let us know how it went...
