Came upon this credit union while on Facebook, so my curiousity got the best of me, looks like anyone can join with a $5.00 donation, I went ahead and joined, $25.00 depoit into savings, membership application went Instant Approved, notes said they will send me forms to sign and mail back, being a Coor's light drinker, I found this to be quite comical yet interesting, they do offer Visa cards with their logo on them, havent applied for any credit products yet, but their rates look really good! Soft pulled my Equifax credit report to join, and it looks as if they use Experian for their credit products. Ill keep you guys posted.

Excellent credit is subjective.. As Cap1 what they consider excellent is laughable and they don't follow their own rules. That is just one example.. Excellent credit is Simmon's or Iberia and the likes being extremely conservative(although their cards aren't so great anymore due to many other CU's, etc). Good/Excellent credit is alot of places and many people including OP probably has excellent credit by his/her limits and other cards and scores show it as well

Ok, I just pulled the trigger and applied for one of their credit cards, didnt go system approved, I can verify they pulled Experian, its in the pending status as of right now, will follow up as soon as I find out. Experian score of 763 is what I am showing on FICO! Thanks!

My apologies for so quickly posting the standard requirements for admission to said facility prior to further research on the matter and it was not apparent on my California based internet browser.

As i now have interpreted a rude remark from a faceless entity after giving praise to another.

If another poster could redirect me to the supposed statement of a donation for entry, it would be appreciated. I am obviously lacking.

I shall remember to avoid confrontation in the future and wish you the best in your credit journey.

My application from yesterday still says pending? Perhaps it takes a few days before an underwriter can look at your application? Or possibly you have to have your membership finalized before they can finish it? If I dont hear from them by the end of the day, I will call them on Monday, so far on the membership end, its still saying Instant Approved, so thats good!
