App for Chase Marriott pull Tu

I applied for Chase Marriot last night, in the hopes of getting in with them before 5/24. I have a Pre Q for the big 3.

But was worried I would be denied (5/24.

It said we will contact you in 7/10 days etc. Then I received an email saying 30 days. That's also what is says when I call auto line.

I I thought they were going to pull Ex. I was worried because just apped for 2 Amex's back to back. Only received one inq.

So so far only seeing a Tu Pull. Score at time 681. No apps for 6 Months. 3 inq's past 6 months.

Sound like a denial?

Why denial ? Just requires some patience now ..and it looks to me like a double pull as I doubt that Chase only pulls TU. Good luck!

30 day by automated system is usually a good thing.. Resist from calling in and speaking with anyone until you get a letter or the card.. 30 day by phone along with two weeks usually yields an approval where as the 7-10 day by automated phone isn't as peachy for most.

Suprised they pulled just TU for you.. I would be looking for another one against EQ as well if you already checked EX.. Would be amazed if it was a single TU pull for the marriott card as usually their single TU pulls are for the CSP/Freedom/Slate at least from the evidence I have seen and in my personal case as well

I app'ed last night around 2 am.

Hypothetically, if I app for another Chase card today...would they use same pulls?

Could go either way, but expect worse case scenario of another hp or two. Or if lucky the same one is used

Don't jump to denial

Both my Chase cards said 7-10 days so I called recon and it came down to a verification of information issue.

There appears to be something up with TU and verifications over the past two weeks...Chase pulled it for those apps and then Synchrony offered me a big bump on my Walmart card...but required verification...also a TU pull but SP for that...

All three came down to a simple "we are going to send you a text message with a code to verify your phone number".

I wonder if it has anything to do with the credit protection thing I accepted from Tmobile after their Experian stuff was hacked.

fYI when I applied for this card last month they double pulled me, TU and EX.

I have 13 chase cards all double pull EX/TU except for chase sapphire (non annual fee version) just pulled TU.

I'm scared to call status line, they pulled all 3 as of today.

Really wanted this card.

I will be thrilled, if I get the min 5k...

When I applied I had the same thoughts.. Really wanted the card and I'll be happy if just approved for the minimum 5k.

So I about fell out of my chair when it came back with 18K limit.

Just keep an eye on the status line, but otherwise wait it out and dont poke the bear.

Just wanted to update. Chase only pulled Ex and Tu for Marriott, not Eq too. Thought they pulled all 3.

Status mine still says 30 days.

Nice to know as I just got two new HP's on my credit report thanks to new apt. complex I am moving to and Uverse.. Thanks guys, not! Seriously people need to hit TU more for credit checks for services and/or cards as my EQ report can't get a break!
