pretty normal response from Chase lately as they apparently review a lot of apps. there is a status line to call to get computer updates on the app.

very common message. call the status line to hear what the robor lady says to predict your outcome.

Called robot lady and got 30 day message and also got email with 30 day message

Well I checked the status line this morning and it changed from 30 days to the 2 week message I wonder if that's a good thing

Also I was approved for my first ever Amex last night the blue cash and a charge card

And just so everybody knows chase is inquiry number 66 and Amex was 67 so inquiries don't mean everything

I agree inquiries don't mean everything.. Although you might really want to lay off applications with that many inquiries. Just my opinion of course. I am at 15 on one CRA and hate it as it impacts your approval chances of cards, APR, SL's and terms in general. Anyways best of luck on the application as your scores if current in signature or about borderline for that card if they pull eq or ex. If this is your first chase card that is alot for them to overlook, although certainly they might as it is most likely in queue for manual review

Those scores are not current haven't updated them yet and I do already have a southwest card which was approved with them being the 65th inquiry and I received 15.99% and a 4500$ sl that card is on autopay full statement balance and has already had a lot of usage.

Also I got the southwest card with a lower score and a lot more recent inquiries my ex and eq has been locked since 12/16/2015 and I temp lifted the freeze

Most of my inquiry count comes from car loans plus many of them are over a year old

My experien has a lot of OLD trade lines and have tons of usage history very thick profile and for a data point I have not ever had AA taken or anything and if I do well who cares I have other cards

I've been approved with Chase with high high ex and they always pull TU for me which is better. But that 2 weeks is a great sign!
