Is it possible to have 2 Barclays Apple or Rewards MC?

I have apple rewards and Rewards MC with Barclays. Both opened almost 8 months ago, been using with heavy charges. Apple $2K limit and Rewards MC $1500 limit.

Question is can you have 2 of the same card with barclays, if i would apply for another Apple or Rewards MC to combine the limits down the road.

Closing down couple secured cards so i need to add one or two CC accounts. TU fico is around 660 which is higher than my initial approval with barclays and only 3 inq.

Why not just go for a capital one card?

Do you WANT them both?

Ask for a CLI then combine them.

After that go for a Capital one card and head for the garden!

Rinse and repeat in 6-12 months. (or some variation of this)

unfortunately cap one dont like me even though i have a secured card with them for $3K for the past 11 months and i have been denied few times in the past. I gt DW a Platinum and a QS1 with $300 SL each and after 2 months she is already at $800 on both accounts, and her scores were right at 600 and little below. I applied the same day with 650's and higher and it was a no go. And as far as combning the 2 Barclay cards, that won't happen because one is MC and the other is Visa. So i was just wondering if anyone has ever applied for 2 of the same card from Barclays like you can do with Cap One.

Do you have a lot of inquiries? Capital one loves me but I reached a high number of inquiries and now they don’t. They look at me like a scorned puppy. And if you do have a lot of inquiries, Barclays will also deny you.

TU inq's is 3 only. DW had about 10/15 on each bureau when approved for Cap One. I will call them now and ask them if there is any offers on my account and also ask if i can close one account and move the limit to the other card (since one is MC and the other is VS) and will update here shortly.

Wondering if anyone has ever had luck getting 2 of the same barclay cards such as apple rewards or rewards mc? Kind of like Cap one 2 ventures, or 2 QS.

I actually called Barclays and asked and they said you can have 2 of the same products.

Talked to barclay and yes, you can have 2 of the same product. And you can have 2 accounts combines regardless of VS or MC provided that you close one and have 0 balance at the time of CL transfer.

Yes you Can! I have to 2 Barclay Reward cards. The 1st one was 10 months ago and my newest one is 1 month old (just born lol) I asked if I payed the remaining balance off of my 10 month old could I combine and they said that I could. So yes you can

And I have 16 inquiries on Eq and 26 on TU. Don't really know how many on Ex
