Knocked off the train.....Declined for Blispay

I just wanted to post this, with all of the approvals lately on this board. I got declined for a Blispay account a few days ago. They will send me a letter explaining the reasons why. They pulled my Experian with a 678. No lates. Tons of inquiries and new accounts.

Oh well! It was not meant for me. I went to get on the train and they knocked me off and left me, lol! 😊

Good luck to all who got this! I'll just have to be content with all of my other new accounts, including my 3 Amex. 😊

They seem to not be so picky at all but i guess that they have some breaking point after all.

The 63 million dollar question now is do they even do such a thing as a RECON

RoseyK (another new BlisPay member) has posted in credit cards forum that they had their approval limits INCREASED!

And so since you guys have already taken the HP hit maybe denials stand a chance to be overturned?

I'll wait to see what they have in the letter. The only thing bad on my ex report is too many inquiries and new accounts in the last 5 months. So we'll see!

It's worth it if you ask me to try to Recon any denial just to find out if they will and not waste a good INQ if you don't have to.

Good luck. I had 38 inq on EX at time of approval and 5 new accounts in last 6 months. You don't even want to know how many new accounts I have going back within the last year.

I was approved for $1,200 with a 681 Experian Fico, 90 inquiries and 9 accounts around 7 months old. For the record, I have no missed payments, charge off liens or judgments though.

This is my story exactly! 678 EX score, many inqs and new accts... no dice for me from Blispay! Chase bandaged that boo boo and gave me a Marriot rewards visa SIGNATURE w/ a 5k SL. My first siggy aside from the signature upgrade on the chase amazon card.

ETA: which Amex cards did you get?

90 inquiries, Myzery? Wow! And, here I was ashamed of my 49...lol! Majority of my new cards are from Synchrony, about 10. At least I. know they love me.

iMonger, I'm glad I'm not alone. I have my Amazon Chase Signature card to comfort me. I also have the 3 Amex cards, The Green Card, Delta Gold Skymiles, and HHilton Honors. At least somebody wants me!

LOL... I'm actually impressed that you guys were even able to get that many inquiries!

I've been concerned about being turned down for things with my four... I feel a bit silly now.

(Seriously, I'm not judging at all... that tells me you've both been doing serious work on your files.)

I think "back in the day" when I was still doing the new card thing every year or so I might have had 20 at one time due to car dealerships using the 'shotgun' method to get my credit app approved, but I think that's the most I've ever had at once - and that was long ago when 'life was good'. <sigh>

On less than 10 inqs last summer, Credit One turned me down. Someone else always has it worse.

Does the Support Group have a secret handshake I need to learn? Couldn't believe they had the nerve to deny me

I have been on a roll with other accts though and like you, SYNC seems to love me "I love those who love me"
