Amex App progress?

I applied for these Amex Products yesterday and they've been processing since and we're not flat denials, I know Chase can take 30 days and this is my first Amex App... How long do these usually take?.

You can call the backdoor number to push the apps through. Often when you apply for two cards on the same day it can put the apps on hold for security reasons. Amex told me once I had to wait 4 or 5 days in between the two apps. Not everyone has had that issue but it could be why youre seeing that still. Amex is usually quick with decisions.

I applied for the Hilton Surpass on Saturday and it was in progress until Monday when I received an email saying congratulations I was approved. Prior to that approval, last month I had applied for the everyday card and was denied within 12 hours...HTH

Mines have been like this for 24 hours, I'll just sit it out till Thursday, if no progress has occurred I'll call the backdoor #, what number is it to push applications through?

I applied for both of those cards and they were pending for 2 days, then I got the approval emails. Good luck!!

I think you're getting a little too excited after less than two business days. Give it 30 days and then contact them if the status does not change.

This is usually true if both apps are for revolving accounts. couple weeks ago i apped for one revolving and 2 charge cards and all were instant approvals. My 4th application, which was a second revolver was the one that i had to wait on for 5 days.
