Victoria's Secret Store Card- Help!

When you apply for the Victoria's Secret Credit Card is it a soft or hard pull? I can't get the shopping cart trick to come up so I am considering applying. Also, does any one know which credit bureau they pull from if it is a hard pull?

Pretty sure it will be a hard pull if you apply. If it wasn't then why do a shopping cart trick.

Yes, but that is like receiving a pre-screened offer. Even if you do get the shopping cart (which is how I got the card, and I didn't even know that was a thing at the time lol), when you complete and process the application, it WILL hard pull (TU I believe).

Since you are not using the SCT, it will be a hardpull. They usually pull EQ for it but you can also check the credit pull database to see what is pull for your state/region.

Really? I could have sworn it was a HP when it processed- However, that was a while ago, and I could be wrong? Sorry!

Really? I could have sworn it was a HP when it processed- However, that was a while ago, and I could be wrong? Sorry!

The sct for this card was a soft pull for me and so were the other store cards I got from comenity using the SCT. I don't get pop ups for the ones that have Visa/MC products which those do seem to end up in being hard pulls.

VS was a SCT card for me and it was an EQ soft pull.

Worst case scenario is plan for a HP. Sct is normally a soft pull but you never know until you do it yourself.

Op. I couldn't get the SCT to work for me either. VS and Overstock were the only cards I wanted, but wouldn't come up for me. So I just applied for both. It was a hard pull. Both pulled my EQ. But, they use their own internal scores, not Fico.

Last year I got away without an HP on Total Rewards Visa & Sportsman Guide Visa. And the SL's were over 14k. Also a few others. Had Vickie's a long time so I just app'd for it. Didn't know about that secret.
