7-10 day message for Chase CLI (Originally a PC request)

I was informed (rather quickly I might add) via SM that I would need to request a CLI first (before I could PC my freedom to a Freedom unlimited signature visa..... So I quickly responded with the request, gave them updated income (105k)

And then got the 7-10 day message 😳😔.....

thanks to this place: I actually know what that means.....

oh well I tried, and ran to the well one too many times..... 11/13 (citi bank was the other that didn't like me) requests for new credit still isn't bad!!!

what gets me is I actually said in the SM that I was willing to move the CL from my slate over "if there was an issue" ..... fFWIW- I requested a new CL of 10k...... but only because i thought they would counter, Because of the amount of usuage i put the freedom through (and then turn around and PIF within a couple days), that they would go ahead and grant it to me....

Here's my question now: when I get the denial letter, can I recon it and AGAIN ask them to move CL's around to grant me the FU - Am a wrong to think that if I take $1700 from the Slate (and leave it at 500 CL) and add that to the freedoms 2k CL (3700 CL) that they would reconsider the remaining 1300 to reach the required minimum on the card (5k) ?

The freedom unlimited doesn't need to be a siggy so just ask for a pc to the FU....

(I wanted the bigger CLI, and the extra warranty protection of the siggy since the freedom is the card i trully use the most)

7-10 day message isn't necessarily a dealbreaker. Back in December I requested a CLI on my Chase Disney in-branch. They called up lending and I spoke with them, gave them my income and occupation information, and they came back with the 7-10 day. Literally about 7 days later, I logged into my checking, and saw my new limit of 10K for my CC account, letter confirming it came later. So YMMV.

7-10 does NOT mean your denied. I did a cli over the phine with CSR rep and got 7-10 and would get letter. He also said

it had been transferred to analysts.

it took every bit of the 10 days. I ride it out and didn't call. I went from $4k ----> $20k. Which is what I asked for .

I called on the phone and asked for a CLI on my regular Freedom. I asked them to increase it from 4k to 10k. I gave them the go ahead for the HP. She said they would inform me within 7-10 days. I asked to be transferred to lending.

I spoke to them for 20 minutes and they came back and said they would increase from 4k to 6k. So they gave me a 2k increase. Not what I wanted but not bad. The account was just approaching the 6th statement with a zero balance.

I called back an hour later and PC'd it to a FU Siggy.

7-10 days message is denied. I applied for chase freedom and freedom unlimited I get both 7-10 days and was denied.
