CreditKarma Recommendations

This thing has to be wrong. It's recommending me for the Chase Sapphire (regular one, not preferred).

There is no way I can get approved for any Chase cards right now. My AAoA is extremely low, lots of INQs, and my revolving credit is only 4 months old. I think the only things that would help me would be that I have no baddies and I have a checking account with Chase.

But no matter, I want the preferred. Not the regular one. 😝

I wouldn't put any faith into what CK recommends. They're free for a reason.

I wouldn't put any faith into what CK recommends. They're free for a reason.

Their recommendations have been accurate for me-i know! so ironic! However their credit score is not as accurate as their recommendations.

Credit Karma recommended that I might be a good candidate for chase freedom, and chase disagreed, left me with hps on equifax and experian.

When I first started using it the recommendation was capital one quiksilver one and i was approved. now it recommended barclay rewards for average credit and i was approved again!

I dont know oddly enough I got denied for the chase disney, sapphire, chase zappos lets just say chase was not feeling me lol, then creditkarma said I would qualify for the Freedom this is a week after all those denials, and I did it figured what the hell and boom APPROVED!!! go figure so CK can be hit or miss.

I'll never forget that time back in May when CK was recommending me the Chase Freedom and I foolishly applied for it. One HP on EX, one HP on EQ, and a big fat denial. Their accuracy is astounding to me.

The most recommended way to check if you're actually deemed eligible by Chase is to check their pre-approval site which is generally very accurate. I've got all of my Chase cards after seeing their pre-app page.

I've cold apped my Chase cards once I knew I was at least in the ballpark.

The biggest irony is that I have two Chase cards now and ever since getting in with them, they've gone a lot easier on me. Also I only had 8 months of credit history at the time CK gave me that recommendation. I bet if I wanted to, I could get the Freedom with no problem but quite honestly, I'm more interested in their Amazon Chase Visa card these days. It's a card I've wanted for the longest time and at one point, the Freedom was also my dream card.

CK advise has never worked for me. I always had to cold apply.

well I think they pull both when your credit score is less than stellar. anyways, i'm up in norcal but they pulled both.
