Got a pre-approval from 5/3 about a month ago????????

So when I was in my last app spree until I can get my CSP, I got a pre-approval letter from 5/3 for their regular card. But you know me, had to have the "better" card and app'd for it instead. So now after about 3 weeks, finally got a letter from them and all it was: the price you pay for your credit score, blah, blah, blah. Nothing else but that??? Anyone here that can tell me if this is their normal proceedure? I have no idea why they sent me this without the card? I always received one with my cc. Makes no sense at all!

With 53 you usually receive that letter a few days before the card! So congrats!!! That's an awful long time to wait though!

Thanks dedamri! I thought it was very strange just to receive this in an envelope. Never had this before.

I wanted to say that I was reading some things on here late last night since we were in the midst of a tropical storm and I just wanted to make sure nothing got damaged.

I seen you post on the Comenity cc's, I am so sorry this happened to you. After charging and paying you think they would reward you. It looks like a very big trap right now. Hope you got past them and thier dumb ways.

Thanks RM21. I sure hope so. Still waiting on TD bank too. I got the Nordstrom's TD just the other day ago. That took forever. Still waiting on the TD bank card.

This happened to me with my BMW card. They sent out this letter and about a week later I received the card. I also got a letter like this from PenFed right before card approval.

Hey Sandibeach22. Which Nordstrom card did you get? Was it the Visa? I have a retail card (have for 13 years) but I hate the interest rate I have on it. It's the 3rd tier and I was thinking of apping for the Visa to see if I got a better APR. Mind sharing your scores?
