Credit Solutions CLI - denied Walmart

So i thought i'd give it a shot, unfortuntately they shot me down. Said to expect letter in the mail. I will wait for the reason. I just opened the account yesterday.

Walmart is known for making some wait...sometimes upwards of 90 days. Just show some use and make your payments on time and in a few months you should be good to go...

Hang in there. When the do approve your CLI's they go up fast. I started at 1000Sl with auto CLI's and calling Credit solutions I am ow at 12,500. They will treat you well.

It will come around. As you grow with the card, combined with your scores rising, the CLI's will be there!

The trick with Synchrony ( not counting SL bumps ) is you have to use the card.

That won't be a problem, my cards will definitely see use? How are they with carrying balances? Is that frowned upon, with them?

I carry small balances all the time usually < $50 or so just so statements cut.

Lots of good info here... I'll only add that as your TU approaches 700 the CLIs will come easier (and be larger).

Agree with UncleB. I see more frustrated people on here with FICO's in the 630-660 range who cannot get a Synchrony CLI. Remember that even though you've done some hard work to get there, a number of creditors are relcutant to give CLI's or to give new major cards at the 630-660 level. Generally Synchrony does not grant CLI's until your score gets a bit higher.

Thanks for the encouragement...yeah whats a few more months? shoot i'm just glad to be approved for the cards i applied for.

I was stuck at 600 with a TU 634 from Aug 2015 until February 2016 heck I even got a CLI from the system before credit so,unions helped me. I got to a solid 650 then got my 3500 and 2 days ago I got that to 5k.

Yeah my mind is so renewed, on how to manage my credit I remember when I didn't care if a payment was made or not, note I look forward to making those payments.

I know the increases are find come, just a matter of time!
