New apps while waiting for Chase Freedom CLI

I would like to apply for Barclay Rewards and CIti Double Cash, but I recently asked fro CLI from Chase Freedom and was denied. I recon'd and the representative I spoke with said she wants to approve the increase, but she needs a second approval so I have to wait two to three days. I was going to apply for BArclay and Citi but should I wait until Chase is done? Do you think they can "see" that I applied for other cards?

Yes, Chase can definitely see it (the inquiries), and it seems like the person doing this 'second approval' will SP you too. I would wait if I were you, especially if the Freedom CLI matters a lot to you. The Barclays and Citi application sites will still be there in a few days!

Thanks! I will wait, then no more apps for 1 year for me. I will just keep PIF every month and see what happens for my score.

Bad news. No CLI.

I'm really starting to get annoyed with Chase. They are the only CC still punishing me for bad debt from 2010 (which I am working to resolve, I just want to make sure it gets deleted).
