Applied for the NFL Rewards and got this..

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide you with an immediate decision on the application you just submitted.
Your application requires further review, which can take up to 10 days.

We will notify you in writing in no more than 30 days (and often sooner) about the status of your application.

What does your credit profile look like? How many Inq in last 12 mo and new accounts in last 2 years?

You could always call them and see if they can give you more information about it. Mind you (this is my own experience) everytime that's shown up, it has been a denial of credit, but you won't know unless you call.

Barclays is pretty huge on the inquiries element of a credit profile. I just went through a denial with them because of too many inquiries. I am a current card holder with Barclays too, with 28% UTI and a good credit mix. I got the 7-10 day message too and reconed to hear the details of the denial. Nice people but they have their caveats.

I gotten that message before and within minutes have gone to their app status site only to find out app was denied. So check the online app status and see what appears right now.

Adamkingadam that's a good sign. If you were denied right away that status would show declined. I would call the recon line.

Have you called the backdoor number yet? They're open I believe 24/7 if not late into the night ☺

Not yet... Got a email last night saying pretty much what the website i checked the status at " we are reviewing your app and will contact you if we need further information"

Checked again this morning and still the same status, I guess that is a good sign that its still under review and not a outright decline yet.

Iv had this same ordeal in the past with Barclay and it ended up being a denial. I wish you best of luck though!
