BOFA approved me finally but

it keeps saying I already got online login to activate the card. does this means its the one I burned them little bit more than 9 years ago is my login ? Yikes! this is gonna be harder than I thought because I dont remember login details. I was hoping they would let me do a new login.

I don't have a BofA card but most site have some kind of "forgot" link, if that doesn't work or they don't have it you will likely need to call and have their IT help you get the online account functioning.

Was approved 3 months ago as well and use to bank with them 4 years ago had to re-use my banking account previous login to get online access to card. Hope this helps. So I had to recover my password/username.

Wow, did it display old charge off accounts once you enrolled new account ? I hope not lol

Never burned them.. Just had checking/savings with them in the past. Had to use same login for CC though even though account wasnt active anymore or didnt think it was lol

Same for me as CC. I had a joint account with my now ex-husband, closed in 2010. I opened my an individual savings, checking and joint savings with my son. Yes, I had the same login and the password still worked (I remember details like that forever). I cannot see the closed accounts only the open accounts.

Hope my ex never opens a BofA account not sure how that would work?!?

Ok, thanks for all posts, I probably should have posted this in approval section but I figured this thread is more like tech support took everything I had just to get in with BOFA , CA was very plain and strict until I mentioned "look, I know I made mistakes in the past and I am not proud of it and I would go as far as willing to put my $$ and turn it into secured account and thats when she started to listen to me

Also, does anyone thinks it will take longer to unsecured this account if I plan to put only between $30 to 70 and PIF per month ? I am gonna try to see if they are willing to add 3-2-1 cash back program for my account.

Ymmv when it comes to how quickly they unsecure a card. There are numerous things assumed to be taken into account, including your overall credit profile. It really is tough to predict.
