Selected to apply for an Exclusive Offer for Amex ED

What's the likehood of getting approved after getting in the email for a selected offer for the Amex ED? I already have the BCP and PRG. Amex emailed me this offer and it says "Congratulations, You're selected to apply for an exclusive offer, apply for the Amex Everyday credit card as a companion to your PRG and earn 15,000 membership rewards". Amex also gave me an RSVP code for the application. I already apped for this card about a little over a month ago but I was denied. Thanks.

I was just asking about this offer in credit cards. I got that email tonight. Did you get a specific APR? It didn't have opt out wording... so I'm suspicous.

That's funny I have the prg and everyday card and I got a congratulations email offering me the Blue Cash everyday with a 13.24. Not going to bite. Its my first email ever.

I know. I thought maybe I triggered the ad. I was trying to see if I could get a prequal on EDP earlier this week. I wish someone would apply and report back that they were approved with a decent SL and 13.24. Then I would feel more confident.

I didn't see any apr offer on the email only the 15,000 rewards points and 0 annual fee.

I'm tempted to app ... Seems legit but I was denied when I apped for the Amex ED a little over a month ago .

I've had my everyday card since February 2015 and exactly a year for the prg. do you have any other American Express cards that are hitting milestone of some sort? In the past I got denied for the blue cash preferred because it said I was not an American Express customer for a long enough time

I have the PRG and BCP about 9 months now. Just been using my PRG for Costco groceries and I use my BCP more now in this past 2 weeks. I apped this Amex ED Card about a month ago but I was denied and I'm hesitant in apping this exclusive offer but tempting though.

Dendom- are you sure there isn't an apr at the bottom of your offer? If you read all the way to the small print it might be there. That's where it was in my offer.

Oops! You're right. I saw my APR offer of 0% in the first 15 months then after 13.24%. . It's down at the Bottom after the RSVP code under Terms and conditions.

Plus I believe, as a current Amex member, if you get denied you dont get hit with any inq. Only if approved. Unless that has changed.

Is there a limit as to how many denial attempts before we get hit with a HP with Amex?

From my experience Amex hasn't hit me with a hard pull in the past 2 years and I've submitted my fair share of apps that were declined.

If I was in your situation it would be soooo tempting to pull the trigger on this. Even as I read through the thread, that temptation seemed even more. What will you do?
