I agree! They show me both the Capital One Venture and Capital One Platinum Prestige which I am almost certain I would receive an automatic denial.

It seems they give a generic message. I have put bogus information into the system and it always shows me the Discover It as an "offer."

I just found that. Thanks! I didn't realize that store cards had the pre-qualified search as well. It also appears that this card is backed by Citibank.

You're correct. Just input basic data for suggestions. No personal info is required.

From my experience with Discover, if you put in bogus information they'll give you an APR range, but if you put in real information, they give you an exact number if they have an offer. At least that's how it was with me. I tried two different bogus applications and was given a range, when I put in my real information I got an actual APR number and then got approved after.

Same here. Passed so far. They've followed up with letter. Might do it and take advantage of 0% financing for new gutters I need.
