I need help choosing a card

Currently, I have the Cap One (750 CL), an auto loan of 5k left (that I havent missed a payment with and had it since APRIL 14), and Walmart Store card 150 CL.

- My utilization is at 47%

- I have 1 hard inquiry.

- Avg Age : 4 yrs 5 months

- Oldest- 8 yrs 2 months

- Payment History- 97%- 3 missed payments (all 30 day)

- Total accounts- 10

- Derogatory- 0

My monthly activity usually is -

-35% bills

-33% savings (not interested in any savings benefits cards)

-32% Dining + entertainment

for the past 2 months, i've gotten offers to apply for Chase Freedom + Slate. I have done prequalify thing for Citi and was offered the double cash card, also did one for Discover, was offered the it card, did one for BoA, offered travel BoA card.

I do not pay for my Credit Scores anymore, but I am on CK, not sure how accurate that is.. It shows my EXP + EQ on 657 and 658.

I travel every 6 months on vacation with the wife.

So a couple of questions:

1. What kind of card rewards should I be looking for?

and

2. What kind of card would I get most likely to be approved for?

What kind of card are you looking for? What rewards would benefit you best?

I'd definitely get my utilization down before apping.

If it were me? Id go for discover it.

I would suggest going to CreditCheckTotal.com (cct) and spend the $1 to get your true Fico scores. ( you can cancel before 7 days is up and you'll owe nothing further ) Once you give us your true Fico's we can give you better advice

Before I do the 1$ deal, or apply I think I'm going to first drop the uti.

Will keep you guys updated with the score once I drop the uti to about 20-30%.

You should apply for a CLI on that Walmart store card. Synchrony is known for generous CLI... and it is only a SP to apply.

You can do it now..... I don't believe Synchrony is sensitive about utilization.

LOL. They denied me. those bastards.

The funny thing is that I requested for the hell of it with my Cap 1 card, and they approved me for 1k!!!!

**bleep** so im stuck with 150 CL with Wally, and a huge boost to cap 1, which is a blessing because now my uti is down!!

Good luck on your search. I would do Freedom... but it depends on what your needs are in a card as stated before.

Im looking for a card that has a nice points system or cash back system, that accomodates my lifestyle. Since I spend basically 1/3 of my salary on entertainment and/or dining, I'm looking for something that would benefit me on that.

Any advice as to what I should be looking for?

I've seen Marvel CC with 3% dining, Freedom has revolving cash back, etc etc.

Which would be a realistic card based on FAIR credit?
