Fifth Third Stand Up to Cancer

Applied online and (seemed) to have answered a question wrong regarding my auto loan (cute since they had a $1k blank area not covered by the scales they offered and that was the one that was my balance so i said none - that was wrong.

anyway, next screen said it could not prcoess application online and to call.

i ended up having to resubmit the entire app over the phone.

That's what my partner asks "Are you ever going to stop applying?"
I say "why would I if we are not within 12 months of a mortgage?!"

lol.. do you every worry that when you two do app for a mortgage that they may ask you to close a lot of cards in order to make the debt ratios work?

The card will just show up. I can't remember exactly, but it was a " blah blah blah... You'll know in X number of days by mail, " and the card was in my mailbox.

Good luck!!!! I applied for the same card a few days ago. I didn't get instantly approved. It went to pending. I called the number on the application and they told me it was denied. They pulled EXP.

I heard 53 is pretty conservative. Where did they pull? You might got denied because of the excessive no. of inquries. They pulled EXP. I got a lot of inquiries.

The online app was pulling public records from TU so I assume TU, I only have 13 Inq on them but if they pulled EX it's over 35 for sure!

They pulled SP TU twice for security question. Then they HP EXP.

I agree, they are pretty conservative but I think it also depends on some other factors. I got approved for $9,500 literally on NYE this past year... application process took a while but I shortened the window since I knew the banker at the branch near my house. This 5/3 product was more suited for me than the (BOA) Susan G Komen MC.

I applied after I learned they use TU '04 version, my score for that model was 705. I got the pending message, but then the card arrived after a few weeks. I wasn't asked those dreadful public records questions...thank goodness!

Called in today after still nothing in the mail... DENIED

I asked about reconsider and he said "we don't know why you were denied until you get the letter, you need to wait for the letter"
