Got an invitation to apply for the Citi DoubleCash against my better mind somethind said don't do it they are the devil..It took a long time to give a response....unable to approve....Oh I almost punched my Mac seriously. Lesson learned whatever they are spooked by I now need to know who they pulled. Off to my corner in a little chair, my tail not long enough to tuck lol

Update...got another alert they pulled both EQ and EX. I'm not sure what they are looking for but thats the first time I've seen them pull a report the next day. I acutally pulled 3 fresh reports the day of the application after being denied and they had only pulled one at the time.

To me it's a denial...it took it a moment before the screen change to show it...Hopefully they send me a letter saying hey you we want to talk to you I've been a good egg promise and my fingers aren't crossed I bet it's that single baddie reporting.

You're certainly at liberty to wait on what the letter says and all that but some have decent luck by calling into their EO and making a case to see if they can get the overturn into an approval. As always and everything though YMMV. It is afterall Citi.

Nope it was for a returned modem to AT&T, UPS marked the package lost...I wasn't going to pay it at all. I did my part and felt AT&T should have put a claim in with UPS (maybe they did and still wanted me to pay for it again)

I'm going to wait to see what the letter says, if they quote that baddie I'm apply again in October/November when it drops off automatically. The weird part I did a early exclusion request on that and another account. The CRA removed one under the request but said no to this one.

I was approved for Citi and they pulled EX and EQ. I have one baddie from 2013 a paid charge off and 3 late payments on a student loan. It's been exactly 24 months since the lates.

Congrats..see I'm wondering what's spooking them on me then I do have some old lates showing on my student loans before I consolidated them almost 7 years ago maybe it's because the charge off wasn't paid

Definitely YMMV. I received a pre-approved offer for Citi DC and was approved instantly for $2k limit (not huge, but middle of the road for me). Every other bank seems to be declining me left and right.

Update: Reconned and was pretty much told, since I was AU on my DH and some of my moms cards they felt I was doing just fine. Instead of focusing on my actual cards...they fine tooth combed me and considered their balances with mines..which still comes out to be about 4% util total
