Congratulations on the approvals! I was approved last year for that card and at 6 months, they doubled my limit.

Shell Drive For Five card. - I use a fair amount of gas, there are more Shell stations than almost everything else combined in my area, plus there is no extra charge for a Shell card (unlike MC/Visa which are 8-10 cents extra), plus I get 5 cents off per gallon... Im not big into store cards, but I can benefit from this one

Interesting datapoints:

Person#1) 678 Ex, 40+ inq on Ex, 15 new accts., AAoA 9 months. 1 old BK, 2 baddies showing. Approved, $800SL

Person#2) 710 Ex, 5 Inq. 3 new acccts. AAoA 1 year. NO BADDIES, just a thin file.. Approved $700 SL

Interesting that the person with the slightly longer AAoA, whith no baddies, but a thin file with almost no Inq. gets a $100 lower SL than the other applicant..

FYI, I am person #1. My son was person #2. I would have expected myself getting a cnsiderably lower SL than he did... Go figure.

I applied for this card last week. CITI pulled Experian which is 714 and i was approved for an $800 starting limit. I reconed it to $1,000 but they wouldn't give anymore. This is my own opinion but CITI is very greedy/conservative with limit increases.
