Amex Platinum Targeted Offer

I got an offer in the mail yesterday for the Amex Platinum with 50k MR after $3k spend. I'll hold out for the 100k offer, but I just thought it was interesting because I haven't even had my PRG for a year and they're sending offers for the Platinum. As soon as I see the 100k I'll pull the trigger, until then, I'm very pleased with my current situation!

I got that same offer. I have to replace the transmisson one of my cars--and if my mechanic took AMEX I'd take it just to meet the $3k spend and then probably close it within a year....I wouldn't use enough of the other perks to justify the $450 AF. Sticking with my Green charge for now.

Received the same offer two days ago. Ripped It up and threw it in the trash. I have absolutely no use for it. I get an offer like this roughly once a month. I haven't seen the 100,000 point offer. I'd probably throw it away to.

I'll certainly jump on the 100k once I get it because the lounge and hotel perks would compliment my job travel well. They can send as many of the 50k offers as they want, but I'm not biting until they send the 100k!
