Ritz-Carlton Cardholders-How soon you received your card?

Hello, just wanted to ask for the Ritz-Carlton Cardholders ....How soon you received your card? I was approved last week Thursday. When should I expect to receive my new Ritz card? Does Chase overnight the cards like when I received my Amex PRGs? Thanks

Wait the 7-10 days. Maybe they are taking the metal from Ritz and using it on their CSR cards because of demand, lol!

My guess would be Wednesday or Thursday, lets start a pool.......

Lol ... . Thanks red. I hope Chase doesn't decide to give me a plastic one due to their high CSR demand lol

Day 5 - Certs and Marriott Gold posted.
Day 5 - Received Welcome email.
Day 6 - Received Metal card and AU card in same box.
Day 6 - Ordered plastic cards.
Day 9 - Plastic cards arrived in box.
Day 14 - Lounge club cards arrived.
Day 18 - Second set of metal cards arrived (common when plastic is ordered).
Day 18 - AF posted (varies by cut date).

I received my card about 1 week after being approved. As the OP mentioned, providing your Marriott rewards number seemed to help expedite the process. Once your application is approved, it is sent to Ritz Carlton for "partner verification". I was told by the rep, they just verify that the name and information on the Ritz application matches the information in your rewards account. I believe my card was sent via UPS 2nd Day Air.

It's been almost a year since I've had the RC card, but when I first got it they sent it via UPS and it was to me within 2 business days. When there were 3 small fraudulent charges on it back to back they cancelled it and reissued me cards- again via UPS and had them in hand within 2 business days. Then again when I requested the cards be refreshed since they upgraded the cards to the Visa Infinite- sent via UPS and had them in hand 2 business days later. Never did I request expedited shipping nor was it ever proactively offered. I'm pretty sure UPS 2nd day delivery is standard.

The only OVERNIGHT card i got was the RITZ but that was due to a person stealing my #. I was on vacation and the card wad overnighted to the place i was staying. Even though i was heading home like 2 days later they wanted ne to have the card ASAP. I love my ritz and it eill be in my wallet for years to come.

Congrats dedom02, I was also approved for this card last Wednesday, and just to update you I must have called 4 telephone numbers today including Chase twice and Ritz to see if i could have the card expedited as I am going on Vacation Sept 6 and wanting to use this card to start my 5K spend and also not to have this card delivered with no one at home but one rep from Chase who was a credit analyst stated they are not expediting any other chase cards related to the massive influx of chase reserve cards being sent out expedited, a Ritz rep was talking about verification process needing to take place 7-10 days although today my Marriot card has shown up gold. Also, I did not put my Marriott rewards number on the app either I left it blank as I did not realize to place Marriot number there, I had to call the next day to report my number so I do not end up with 2 rewards account. I have read numerous posts that Ritz cards have been expedited in the past it is a bummer now with the sapphire reserve......

No offense but everyone needs to learn that these cards or any where they have to coordinate with Marriott, Hyatt, etc take time to come and while they will ship the Ritz overnight once that happens, it still takes 10-14 days to get the card. Why is it that so many people wait unitil a short period before going to vacation to apply for these cards? Chase has to hear that 100 times a day and still they can't get the card to you any earlier until everythng is done with Marriott.

Thanks for sharing the very informative points tray! . I called ask this morning and told that Ritz will have to do some verification. I'll try to call Ritz and give them my Marriott rewards number.
