CHASE Sapphire reserve

Went to my branch to see if I had preapproval for the sapphire reserve and the lady mentioned that I did have it. So I applied and came back pending. The rep called and they said under review 1- 2 weeks . Any suggestions?

Try calling the phone app status... if 2 weeks or 30 day message mostly likely an Approval ... is 7-10 day message not usually a good sign but it could go either way... Goodluck

I got the 30 Day review email so I guess keep my fingers crossed. I will call tomorrow and post an update.

That sounds good! When I received my 30 day message I kept on calling the app status line like almost every hr .. lol ... Hope it doesn't change to 7-10 day message. But I think you'll get Approved ... Goodluck

I wouldn't be too worried. My buddy got that message with his CSP and it was approved a week later.

Just wait it out, they are probably verifying your identity (though idk why since you applied in-branch). When this happened to me, there was nothing they could do- I just had to wait, luckily I just had to wait like 4 days before they called me to verify and then approve me.

I called the lending services line today sep 2nd and they verified that they have recieved my application but the credit analyst said could not expediate it and could take up to 30 days. So much for their preapprovals. I have about 7k in Travel coming up and hoping this get sdone before I am forecd to use my other cards.

UPDATE....Finally approved !!!!!! I went from 30 days mesage to 7-10 day message this morning so I called my branch and had them call the lending dept. Did a 3 way confernce call with them and they just verified my identity and came back with a sweet approval , $28,500 my highest limit. super excited , tried to expediate the card but the lady said , impossible due to over whelming response and yes I will get the plastic version for now.

Sweet Mary J. Blige! $28,500? My highest limit ever was $20k. I remember when I got my first credit card. It was a Citibank credit card back in 91. I was a freshman in college and that's when the credit card companies started preying on young college students. I remember I got a swanky plastic water bottle as a gift. My limit was $500. lol

I got the 30 days message last week and called 888-270-2127 today. They transferred me and went through verification steps with me.

and then, Welcoe to the CS Reserve family with a $34000 limt.

Man, if even that late. I just applied for the CSR on Tuesday. Instant approval online and my card was shipped Wednesday and arrived yesterday.

Don't know how you got an 'Automated' response because I just app'd and it stated pending on my online app and after calling the number you provided it went to a 'Live' Agent, not an "Automated' as you stated.
