Nfcu cc invite with promo code?

Did a search, sorry if missed.

Got a email from Nfcu inviting to apply for cc and use a promo code provided. Are those a "lock"? I already have a cc and loc with them and thought I was at the max limit. No Cc offer online under offers. Thx.

I have heard of tons of ppl on here getting those offers in the last week or two , I dont think it's a true pre approved offer .

I recieved an invitation to apply for a Go rewards card last night from Navy Fed. It does have a promo code as well. The GF recieved a similar email and was approved with the lowest rate and a nice SL.

I believe one member, may be along shortly with reply, was denied a cc by app, then like a week or month later received one said what the hey and wss approved for 5k so i guess it all depends. I know its not unheard of for people to get mailers even after they already got their cc, Discover is perfect example with their mailers

AverageJoes, that was me..... I'm still trying to figure that one out...!!! I got the mailer 6 days after the initial denial. then approval for the same card when I used the offer code

Ahh, sorry Fltireguy!, i knew it sounded familiar haha! Doesnt that just you nuts when they deny you and then soon after approve?;( Or when they approve you for something despite negs on report but then wont increase or approve other things. It can be maddening at times but i guess thats credit for you

Hey, I'm happy. They might have denied the CashRewards initially, but, in the end, it was approved... I like NFCU $5k Visa Signature, $15k CLOC, and a great refi deal on my car... I couldn't ask for more!

Now they just emailed me to apply for a personal loan. What's wrong with these people, I'm gardening lol.
