NFCU cash rewards 24 hour message?

After a brutal couple weeks of sending docs back and forth to be approved, the approval finally came through for my membership. I turned around and applied for the cash rewards card. I received a pending 24 hour message. I have many recent inquiries and a 4 year old BK7. Is this a normal message? Just hoping to even get a low limit to start.

One good thing about NFCU is that they dont seem to be very inquiry sensitive.... (Since they are the most HP happy people on the planet anyway)

The 24h "wait message" seems to be par for NFCU........good luck and let us know.......at one time you could check the status of your application when you login.

24 hrs is pretty standard for them. But don't get your hopes up that you will actually get an answer in 24 hrs , if they are swamped they could take a few days

I got the 24 hr message as well, only to be followed by poi, only to be followed by 7-10 days 😑

I was approved.

When I applied, I got the same message, 24 hours later, almost to the minute, I was approved for 1k. At the time I was 5 months out of BK.

I also received the 24 hour message and was approved within about 15 hours. Applied about 8:00 am. and received approval message around 11:00 am the next day.

I received the 24 HR last week. Was denied the following day. TU 736, $248k income. Received the letter today. Six new accounts this year was too many for them. I just sent a secured message telling them I would work on my fico and when I got it down into the low 600s I'd reapply since it seems they have become a subprime lender. I'm done with them. I had to send the same docs 3 times for membership because they are so inept. Oh they did say I might qualify for secure card
