Amex Everyday "In Progress"?

Hey all, so I applied online after submitting it and then the screen said there was a technical error.. but when I check the app status it show the application as "in progress" should I use the backdoor number or wait for it run its course?

I would probably use the backdoor number to see what's going on. Any news since yesterday?

Checked the app status this morning and it said Declined. I called in the number on the site to Recon and the lady said my application had been flagged due to my past history with Amex lol. Official reason for denial was AAoA, and too many INQs (6). I don't think Amex likes me that much, after I churned the Platinum, Mercedes Platinum, and PRG charge cards for over 250,000 membership reward points earlier. I win in the end either way.

Hah, yeah that makes 5/24 seem reasonable 12v. The banks never lose tho. IMHO of course
