I applied for the Chase Amazon because I wanted the $50 gift card. Got the 30 day message! Called the Automated Line to check and it says 7-10 days..... Do you think it's a turn down??

Let it ride...it might not be a decline but if you are approved they'll still give you the gift card on your Amazon account. By let it ride sometimes they take longer to approve or it could be a verification needed call

Thanks! I know my scores are great by any means but I hate washing a hard pull! As of right now it looks like they only pulled transunion....

I know for sure..I hate all hard pulls lol even if it ends in an approval...Chase is an odd duck...sometimes they throw that message out there for the 7 to 10 days and because we're used to seeing it on other cards being declined saying wait for a letter it immediately throws us into welp it's a denial mode..Chase may call to verify your info so watch for calls and they may send a letter saying call...

When I got my Freedom with them I was instantly approved! Seems weird the Amazon card would be more difficult!

Ugh that will probably be a no for me also... trying to gauge if I want to app for one more card before I go into the garden. So wondering if looking good for me or bad. Ill have to wait and see. Thank you for the information.

Mine literally took like 30 days before I saw it when I logged into my bank. I seriously had forgotten that I even applied! I received an $80 gift card too. Had no idea that was part of the approval. I say just be patient and wait it out.

Chase is very odd. I just applied Thursday, part of an app spree, and I have way more than 5 new accounts in the last 2 years. (One of which is a Chase Card) I was approved for this but turned down for the store card. Weird.

It was the Chase Amazon. Not the store card.
