I recently applied for a Chase Disney World card and decided to app for a Chase Inc card since I kept getting alot of pre-approvals for my company.

I app for the Disney first and got the 7-10 days which I hear is normally a denied. I did recently get an auto CL on my SW card from $5000 to $7300 for some reason about a month ago. I put through about 5k spend each month on the card and carry balances then recently paid it off.

Called the status line after maybe 30 minutes and got the 7-10 day review thing so I then decided to app for Chase Ink because of thier huge sign on bonus. Got the same 7-10 day review thing online. So I call the automated status line and this was around 10 my time
And I got it said please wait I am transferring you so I was like wth and hung up. So I called back again and it transferred me again to someone in EO and she was like how can I help. She asked me for my account number and I said I do have one but was calling on application status. She advised it was still pending.

Called the next day and it did the same thing. Transferred me to rep who told me sane thing. Not sure if good or bad lol. Can someone enlighten me?

685 EQ, 711 TU, 717 EX..30 inquiries or more on each bureau. Probably 7 new accounts within year. 24 CCs total with 110k Credit limit. 15% util. Only negative are student loans that were late about 4 yrs ago.

Doing another app after the 7-10 may not have been overly wise but whats done is done. I would honestly wait it out and recon if denied. You can sometimes move a CL from one card to another to open it if you're denied due to max exposure with chase. Definitely wait for the answer and if denied then let us know the reasons so we can help you with your next step

Thanks. Thought since one was for business and one personal they could be looked at seperately. Will update once I get something. 👍

Oh okay then it's possible they'll be looked at separately but since your social is attached to both then that may be why the ink got the instant message because you did 2 apps within 30 days (if thats still a thing (it was last year))

Will let you know. Crossing my fingers. They did give me a auto CL increase on my Southwest Card 2 months ago but the 7-10 review worries me. Now eveytime I call status I get live rep lol. I have been researching that and have only read for a few that it required more information but in my case they said they have everything they need atm.

If they have all they need I would quit calling. Not sure if they track it or not but it's seeming like your calls are triggering reps so I 2oukd just let the cookie crumble as it should

Some say talking to reps is bad and some say it doesn't make a difference. I don't know what the true answer is but I would just probably stop calling for now

I was recently prequeled for the Freedom and CSP . Done the app for the Freedom and got the.. "7-10 message " !

Some call this the.."kiss of death", so , I waited on their letter. Got it and they wanted me to call for further review .

After being on the line with the rep, she said it was still being reviewed but if I didn't mind hanging on a few minutes , she'd try giving me answer then.

She came back with the "congratulations , you've been approved for the Freedom at $ 3,000.00" !

So, the "7-10 message " isn't always the end !

Just hang in, OP, wait it out !

Is there two seperare 7-10 day messages? I got the if you are approved you will recieve card in 7 -10 day msg.

There are two 7-10 day messages.

When you apply online and you don't get instantly approved, you get a 7-10 day message. *Everyone* gets these.

On the automated status line, you can get 3 different messages:

"2 weeks" = good.
"30 days" = needs manual review. Generally good.
"7-10 days" = denied, letter generated.

Sometimes you get the 7-10 day due to ID issues. But you'll get a letter every time.

Do you know why my calls to the status line are automatically routed to a representative? That is completely odd to me.

why don't you just call the backdoor number 1-888-270-2127 and ask if they need any information to push the app through to be approved. be polite know your credit and explain to them why you need the card don't talk about the sign up bonus...for instance you applied for disney and say you have a child you buy disney stuff for alot..

Rlx01 if you're not instant approved it's not automatic 7-10 day message. I got the 30 day message instantly. Called automated line 2 hours later and approved.

I can tell you for sure if your over 5 new credit card accounts in 24 months that ink if definelty going to be declined. There pretty strict on that policy. Disney I'm not sure if it's included in the 5/24 rule or not. But judging that it's giving you a 7-10 day message is generally a denial. Hope for the best outcome though you never know what can happen.
