Is this a good order for a 7 card app spree?

My FICO is 770 and I'm at 2/24, this is the order I'm thinking of applying:

1st) Chase Sapphire Reserve

2nd) PenFed Platinum Cash Rewards
3rd) Citi Double Cash
4th) American Express Blue Cash Preferred
5th) Discover It
6th) USBank Cash+

7th) Amazon Store Card

Order looks good to me.
Are there any other cards that you can use from Chase? Two for 1 HP is a possibility.
You could go with the Amazon Prime Chase card after Sapphire. That's if you don't mind being a Prime member.

That will give just a single pull on TU if US Bank goes that route.
Citi and Amex will hit EX most likely.
Chase will hit EX and EQ sometimes.
Penfed is all EQ
Discover is EX or EQ.
Sometimes these companies do change up on who they pull.

Oh sweet! I completely forgot about them pulling from different bureaus! Personally I'd rather have only one credit card with chase, and I like the reserve card the best! Thanks for the response!

How much do you spend on grocery and Amazon? If they are less than $500 each month total, maybe you could get by with just Blue Cash Preferred (BCP) alone and delete Amazon store card. This is because you can just use BCP to purchase Amazon gift cards at grocery stores to load Amazon gift card balance for future use.

I would think that USBank is more inquiry sensitive than Amex or Discover. If you really want US Bank Cash+, I would recommend you change it from 6th to 4th and try applying it in branch. Banking relationship will help a bit. Amex seems to be more lax with me but not sure what your experience has been.

If I were you, I would apply in the following order:

I did BCP in December and got a welcome reward of $250 on $1K and 10% up to $200 back from Amazon.

Having recently obtained PenFed and Disco with 15+ inquiries showing and getting Chase/Amex before I went spree crazy last year...and from what I've heard about USBank, Citi and Amex...I'd be inclined to go:

1st) Chase Sapphire Reserve

2nd) USBank Cash+
3rd) Citi Double Cash
4th)PenFed Platinum Cash Rewards

5th) Discover It
6th) American Express Blue Cash Preferred

How important is the Amazon to you?

PenFed isn't inq sensitive at all - I had 60 on Eq when they approved me @11.5k(reconned to 15k) in Dec. Amex isn't either - I would save those two for last!!!
Definitely Discover before PenFed and Amex though.

I'm not sure if the Amazon Chase Visa offers financing, but if it does, it is a way better card than the Amazon store card.

Even if it doesn't or you're not planning to use the financing, then the Amazon Chase Visa would be a better choice.

Interested in seeing the results. Hopefully, all approvals!

I really only prefer to have one card with chase, so I don't want their Amazon card. I'm also too lazy to use the BCP to buy gift cards. So based on the feedback it seems like I should do this:

1st) Chase Sapphire Reserve

2nd) USBank Cash+
3rd) Citi Double Cash
4th) Discover It
5th) Amazon Store Card
6th) American Express Blue Cash Preferred

7th) PenFed Platinum Cash Rewards

Can I ask why you only want one card with Chase? One of the big benefits of the CSR is being able to earn UR's on the Freedom and Freedom Unlimited (Ink if you're eligible), and transfer them to the CSR for travel transfers and purchases.

The Amazon gift cards bought at a grocery store would code as grocery and earn 6% cash back plus, depending on the retailer, fuel points.

Edit to clarify: it would earn 6% cash back from Amex, and it could earn fuel points through the retailer's loyalty program.

It seems like OP wants one card per bank ATM. In that case I would go with the Chase Sapphire and Sync card for Amazon. I have no love for Syncb at all, but their 0% APR deals on large purchases at any time combined with easy large limits is hard to beat.
