Cap1 Venture CLI

I've seen a lot of posts that say that CO wants to see payments of $125.00 or more. The last CLI I received on this card was 7 months ago and the last 7 payments have been over $140 when the most the minimum was is $45. I was denied a CLI for one reason: payments are too low for this account.

There is no rhyme or reason with CO on CLI, util is 0 on this card and approx 15% on all cards that I have with them. Just paid this card off today but my CLI request was about 4 days ago.

Maybe its not cut and dry for one specific account. Could be reviewing all accounts to consider moving venture.

Can you combine your platinum card?

@I can as it's over 1 year old, not sure why it says Platinum as it's a Siggy @ 7k

In my experience Cap1 likes pif or $500+ min on payments... for a decent Cli.

From my experience and a few others on thread they love to see you swipe that card crazy and spend $500 minimum up to a couple thousand a couple months in a row and then big payments and they will give you decent CLI but CO has no pattern and what works for one may not work for others.So now no matter what I spend no more CLI for me so I focus on Discover And Amex Soft pull increases and just run about $50-$100

I had $4850 balance on it last month and now the card is $zero, my last CLI was large and my normal payments were $300-$500 and util was under 15%. When I charged like crazy and PIF every month I never received a CLI. I think I'm going to combine this with my QS because I have a WEMC (travel) and a siggy V1 (travel) and not needing 3 travel cards especially with an $89 AF (due Nov 2017).

When is the last time you tried for a CLI and when did you make your last payment?

I have made 2k payments for months and never a CLI on a higher limit Venture. I don't think I have the income to get the good stuff ;]
