Disco PreQualify & 2nd Card Question

How reliable are these? I filled out my info and it came back with an It card. I have one already tho.
I know you can have 2 cards, but can you have 2 of the same? Also... my secured card was opened in Nov of 2015. It Unsecured June of 2016. Is the year time frame for a second card based on the secured date or the graduation date?

The prequalifier is useless. Someone said they put their dog's name and made up the rest and it came back with a "recommendation". Sorry, don't know about second cards.

Good to know tho.

I wrote a SM and I got a reply back that said customers can have 2 Discover cards and it doesn't matter if it is the same card or different. They forgot to answer my secured portion of the question tho.

Hey I have heard the Prequal is pretty useless. But also on the other hand some report that if it gives you a specific APR vs a range then that is a genuine offer

Internet rumors state that 2nd Disco card will most likely be granted after the 12th statement of the original. High probability of failure before 12th statement.

There are varying DP's on double cash back matching if applying for 2 Disco ITs.

Cash back matching does work for MILES/IT combos.

Prequal is extremely variable. Gotta unfortunately trust your gut and know your reports.
