Amex 3x cli vs new App

Need some advice coming up in a couple of weeks on my 3x cli try, wanted to app for a amex business card. Does it matter the order I do it in or can I app now and still get the 3x cli.

If you're confident with your scores they can reference the hard pull and scrutinize it better so depending on what you have going on that could be a good thing

Thanks my scores around the 690 ish I got approved for Delta gold with a 5K SL. Dont know how stong that is for a business but if I get declined I still wanted a shot at the CLI as a consolation prize....lol

UPDATE: Do to writting this I determined that the business card was more impotant than the CLI. I apped and was approved... I will still try for the CLI in a couple of weeks.
