Overstock SCT denial?

Tried the SCT for overstock. Added a $3000 tv to the cart and proceeded. I got the popup. I proceeded and the result was they are reviewing my app and would contact me within 10 days. Most likely denial?

Not necessarily. It could just be a verfication thing. I would give them a call. Sometimes these things can be handled over the phone.

I tried Victoria's secret and it showed me pre approved for $750. Finished app and got the same response as I did from the overstock app....under review and will get mail in 10 days. Does this suggest it's comenity wanting to verify something and I'll likely be approved for both?

I could be wrong, but I don't know that sct will work for a $3,000 purchase. I would think for that much they'd want a hard pull to make sure they're not giving away a free tv.

I had read several stories of getting nice limits from others that had built up their cart price pretty high. The Victoria's secret sct I added around $60 I think...said I was pre approved for $750. Based on both being comenity, both pre approved, and one even saying what my SL would be, are my odds good when I call? What number do I call?

I put 2300 in the overstock cart... I received a SCT 6K SL.
This was almost a year ago though.

Ya that's the kind of story I was reading on here before trying overstock SCT. Higher cart generally yielded higher SL. If there is a specific number for me to call for overstock/comenity now to resolve, please advise.

a few years ago, at overstock, I put like $1k in cart and it gave me 2500 SL. at 6k now, won't go any higher now thru monthly CLIs.

Update

Received the letter from Comenity. It stated that they could not approve me because the name/address or ssn provided on the pre approval response was different from the information they used in the original pre approved offer.

I moved recently, but used the previous address to complete the offer. I wonder if it would be worth trying SCT again and use my new address.

My own data point will probably throw calculations off some...I had about $100 in my own cart at Overstock when I received a preapproved offer in the email from them on Thursday. Had to think about it for a couple of days, but I pulled the trigger last night, with my cart still just under $100, and got a $4000 SL!

On second thought, I wonder...who does Comenity pull for SP's? My EX score just jumped from 662 to 675 earlier this month, and my TU went from 624 to 640 at the same time. Dunno about EQ yet but it's probably comparable.

Note my comment above that I was just denied because information didn't match. I recently had moved and 2 of the 3 CRAs have my current address while one shows an older one.

Just for the heck of it, i tried SCT again on overstock last night. I added $108 to the cart this time. I tried it with my new address, no pop up. Tried with the old address, popup happened. Am I SOL on this until all 3 CRAs are reporting my new address for a period of time?
