Capital One Premier Dining Rewards

Decided to apply for the Capital One Premier Dining Rewards card since I do eat out a lot and 3% cash back with no AF sounds good to me. Applied with EQ 743 TU 731 EX 737 FICO 8 scores, 4% utilization. Denied. Got the letter today; they based their decision on my TU FICO 4 score, which is only 672. Inquiries weren't given as a reason for the decision, but they were listed as reasons for my 672 score. 13 inq in the past 2 years, all in the last year. Guess it's time to wait it out for a bit.

OP u would have came out better apping the Chase AARP it has no annual fee it offers 3% cash back on dining and gas uncapped with your EX score u would have been approved Chase uses Fico 08 plus there internal score.

I'm 11/24 though, 2 of them chase cards. Is that a problem? Are my inquiries going to be an issue?

No this card is not under 5/24 I was approved on the 16th with the Inq from this card made it a even 50.

I agree with BigPoppa on this. AARP is a much better card, as far as rewards go...

Small signup bonus (better than nothing)... No AF..

30 day is not a bad thing - ALL 4 of my Chase apps have gone to 30 days and then to approval 24-48 hours later. Chase is NOT Inq sensitive (FOR ME) - they pull Ex for me here in Tampa, FL.. and I have more Inq than Bigpoppa des

I bet u it's hung up in verification just as mine was call this number after 5 mins u should be doing a happy dance 1888-688-6708 Chase verification department.

Called them up, indeed had to verify. Approved; only for $800 though. Interesting, as I have a $10k and $5k Amex, $2.5k Chase FU, and $1k Amazon Prime Visa. I've had the other Chase cards for less than a year, would there be a problem with moving some of the FU cl to the new aarp?

U can move some of the limit from the FU if u like.
